Tavvy.com is a ‘Marketplace’ which provides three distinct online services namely University Guidance, University and Scholarship Application Mentoring and Tutoring. A Tavvy Mentor is someone who has registered with Tavvy after completing all the requirements to register on the platform and has the skill-set as required by Tavvy. A Mentor is a trusted advisor and counselor whose core responsibilities include supporting students through their university and/or scholarship application processes. Mentors should have deep experience within the sphere of education and should be in a position to extend their expertise and guidance acquired over the years to students who seek their assistance in the university and/or scholarship application process. Students should look upon Mentors as their source of inspiration and motivation in a bid to help them get into their dream university/degree course. Activities of a Mentor include but not limited to the following - helping students select the right university amongst a choice of universities, guiding them on how to write an impactful personal statement, vetting their essays required to to be submitted for applications, conducting mock interviews, building their self confidence and soft skills etc.
