Tavvy.com is a ‘Marketplace’ which provides three distinct online services namely University Guidance, University and Scholarship Application Mentoring and Tutoring. A Tavvy Mentor is someone who has registered with Tavvy after completing all the requirements to register on the platform and has the skill-set as required by Tavvy. A Mentor is a trusted advisor and counselor whose core responsibilities include supporting students through their university and/or scholarship application processes. University Mentors should have deep experience within the sphere of education and should be in a position to extend their expertise and guidance acquired over the years to students who seek their assistance in the university and/or scholarship application process. Students should look upon Mentors as their source of inspiration and motivation in a bid to help them get into their dream university/degree course. Activities of a Mentor include but not limited to the following - helping students select the right university amongst a choice of universities, guiding them on how to write an impactful personal statement, vetting their essays required to to be submitted for applications, conducting mock interviews, building their self-confidence and soft skills, etc.
